Outside grand final weekend, The Brownlow Medal is the biggest night of the AFL calendar, not just for the votes, but of course, for the glamour. Tonight, the Crown Palladium in Melbourne plays host the 2025 Brownlow Awards, where the AFL’s “fairest and best” player of the season will be crowned.

Over its nearly century‐long history, the Brownlow Medal has evolved into more than just an award ceremony. It’s a showcase of sporting achievement where fashion, celebrity and a love of the game all collide, and naturally, the red carpet itself has become as much of interest as the awards handed out.
The event has seen plenty of high profile Aussie celebrities walk the carpet in past years, from Jesinta Franklin, who is of course married to former Swans star, Buddy, and Bec Judd, and many have kept their eye out for whether Tammy Hembrow would appear alongside her rumoured new romance Bailey Smith.
The Brownlow isn’t a moment for low-key fashion, with bold silk gowns featuring frills, full skirts, and plunging necklines that are as flattering as they are party-ready, this red carpet is a chance for attendees to make a bold statement with their style and go all out.

Ahead of the award ceremony kicking off in Melbourne, players and their nearest and dearest walked the red carpet in all their glitziest and most glamourous looks. Irridescent gowns with sculptural detailing, a gown made entirely of feathers, and Grecian draped gowns all made an appearance on the carpet this evening.
