Autumn 2025 finds Kate Spade in a reflective yet forward-facing mood, reinterpreting its roots through a collection that celebrates the house’s signature style while encouraging everyone to claim it as their own. It is a season where nostalgia collides with modernity, where archival codes are reimagined with sharp new proportions, tactile surprises and an undercurrent of joy that makes the pieces feel both timeless and entirely of the moment.

As ever, handbags are the heroes. The new Duo Bag takes centre stage — a shape-shifting multitasker, beloved by Gen Z style icons like Lola Tung, and designed to be worn four ways: crossbody, shoulder, belt bag or clutch.

Rendered in seasonal shades of lime slice, dried thyme, burnt sage and cashew milk, as well as textures like suede and leopard haircalf, Duo is the brand’s most versatile design yet—functional, collectible, and destined to be worn on repeat.

Alongside Duo, elongated totes, slouchy bucket bags and softly structured shoulder bags nod to archival favourites while embracing a relaxed new energy.

That sense of ease carries through to ready-to-wear. Sweaters, jeans, two-piece sets and fluid outerwear come in autumn-friendly fabrics—suede, crinkle patent, glazed leather—and a palette that moves from rich earth tones to soft neutrals of blue, dusk rose and cream. The result is a wardrobe that feels wearable and intelligent, a mix of staples and statements designed to slip seamlessly into everyday life.

The launch coincides with Kate Spade’s new global campaign, “Spark Something Beautiful,” a vibrant ode to connection starring rapper Ice Spice, dancer Charli D’Amelio, model Reign Judge and singer-songwriter Laufey.

Shot on the streets of New York, the film follows a lone protagonist until she’s joined by friends at a crosswalk—turning an ordinary moment into an urban celebration. “Like the Duo Bag, our campaign stars reflect uniqueness and versatility—yet shine brightest together,” says Kaisy Mae O’Reilly, SVP of marketing.

For Laufey, who makes her Kate Spade debut in the campaign, the message is personal. “Music has always been about connection for me,” she said. “I love the idea that friendship can turn something as simple as crossing the street into something magical.”
