The most wonderful time of the year is here: Black Friday sale season. Although Black Friday’s on Friday, November 28, while Cyber Monday’s on December 1, some sales have started already. Our plan is to channel our inner Carrie Bradshaw and stock up on an array of shoe styles that will see us through summer and beyond.
We’re keen to buy into some of 2025’s biggest shoe trends such as clogs, heeled thongs, and sneakerinas, and to grab some pairs trendy styles from last year that are still kicking around, including loafers, retro sneakers and elevated flip flops (also referred to as ‘beach-to-bar sandals’).
Some shoe sales have started early, so you might find a great deal on your next pair right now. But if last year is anything to go by, we’re predicting many more major discounts ahead. The Black Friday sales are easily the biggest sales of the year, so if there’s a shoe style you’ve got your eye on, now’s the time to grab it.
To help you out in your shopping endeavours, we’re sharing all the stores we predict will be running discounts. Time to find your sole mate.

The brand’s stocked on The Iconic, David Jones, Myer and Revolve, as well as available directly from its own site.
New Balance
Though New Balance’s been around since 1906, it’s recently had a major comeback, when its 530 and 327 styles became the go-tos for the trendy “dad sneaker” aesthetic. Most recently, the brand has collaborated with Miu Miu and Ganni, and, in 2024 at Paris Fashion Week, launched a sneaker-slash-loafer design, the 1906L.
Billini
Billini’s been around since 2009, started by Susannah Khouzame, a uni student at the time who’d noticed a gap for affordable, on-trend footwear. The brand stocks sandals, heels, and boots, with most styles under $200.

Technically Black Friday is on Friday, November 28 in 2025, while Cyber Monday is on Monday, December 1. But early Black Friday sales have started and include plenty of shoes — especially with a Click Frenzy sale on November 11, which means some brands will just roll on with sales throughout November and early December. Our plan is to splurge (er, save) on ourselves and stock up on an array of shoe styles that will see us through summer and beyond.
We’re predicting these shoe brands to hold major sales: Alohas, Alias Mae, Charles and Keith, Teva, Asics, Adidas, A.Emery, Bared Footwear, Vivaia, Jo Mercer, St. Agni, Billini, Tony Bianco, and New Balance. Many of the brands are stocked at retailers like THE ICONIC, David Jones, Myer, and Stylerunner, as well as on their own sites.
Some shoe brands even have Black Friday pages ready to go ahead of their actual sales—including Adidas, New Balance and Teva.
Some on-trend shoe styles we’re predicting we’ll see in the Black Friday sales are of clogs, heeled thongs, and sneakerinas. We’re also likely to see many shoe style trends from last year, including elevated flip flops, leather loafers and retro sneakers.
Black Friday shoe sales often have some of the biggest discounts of the year. Expect to get up to 50% off on shoes during the Black Friday sales, and potentially more if retailers are offering Black Friday discounts on top of regular sales.
